When you visit the Written Heritage or Whispering
Wind Magazine website(s), the security of your personal information is important
to us. We value your business and in return we hope we earn your trust. If
you feel we are not following the below stated policy, please contact us by
email, telephone or in writing.
We always use industry-standard encryption technologies
when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our sites. We
have appropriate security measures in place in our physical office to
protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that you have
provided to us. Credit card information is not processed online, but
manually in our offices by selected management personnel. When you visit
our site(s) we do not recognize the domain name or your email address
unless you provide that information to us.
Cookies: We do not set any cookies. (We
do accept cookies for eating if you send some.)
Email Addresses: If you provide us with your
email address, we may send you announcements of new products and services
from Written Heritage. If you do not want to receive Written Heritage
announcements, please email, write or call
us, or you can wait until you receive an announcement from us and reply to remove
your email address from our email list. We do not make your email address
available to other individuals or organizations
Online Ordering: When you order from Written
Heritage or Whispering Wind online, your personal information is not
stored in an online database. Information transmitted to us for order
processing is encrypted and sent to a secure server which is accessed by
Written Heritage management personnel. The online order form
containing your order information is printed for order fulfillment and the
online order is deleted from all online databases. We do not maintain an
online database. We do, however, store your shipping address in our Written
Heritage database which is not accessible online. This off-line database is
maintained in order to fulfill your order, mail our catalogs and other
promotional material pertaining to Written Heritage products. Persons who
supply us with their phone numbers on-line will only receive telephone
contact from us for information concerning their pending order. We do not
make phone numbers available to other individuals or organizations, nor do
we store your phone number in any database.
Online Credit Card Information and Personal information: This
information is not maintained online nor is your credit card information
kept in an online database. Credit card orders are not processed online.
Each credit card order is processed manually in our Written Heritage
offices.
Physical Addresses: If you provide us with
your postal address on-line, you may receive periodic mailings from us with
information on new products and services or upcoming events. We also make available
for rent our in-house (not online) customer database to companies that we
feel have products or services that would be of interest to our customers.
If you do not want your name and address made available, please email,
write or call us to have your name removed from list rentals.
Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have
special relationships with any ad server companies.
From time to time, we may use customer information for
new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If
our information practices change at some time in the future we will post
the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and
provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are
concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our
Web site periodically or you can call us for further information.
